San Francisquito Creek: Autumn Color & Stolen Safes
Sunday's visit to San Francisquito Creek in search of local autumn color led to a discovery of another cache of stolen safes. I thought the safes discovered during our previous visit there were a fluke, but apparently not -- this stretch of the creek bed is seemingly a supermarket of safes

On Saturday D. and I took a walk on the Cordilleras Trail and part of the Blue Oak Trail at Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve. Here are some of the pics I took.
On Saturday D. and I wanted to go to McClellan Ranch because it was flat, near a creek, and not too far away. But when we got there we found the trail closed due to high water and unsafe conditions, so we had to come up with a Plan B quickly. We decided on Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve, to see how full

On Monday D. and I did a couple of errands in San Francisco, then we went to Land's End to take a stroll on the Coastal Trail before having dinner in the city. Here are some of the pics I took.
